Apple Butter [No Sugar, No Cinnamon]
Ingredients: Cider, Apples

I have strong feelings on apple butter. Thick, deep color and flavor with no need for sugar -- just apples all the way down. Supermarket brands are way too watery, barely more than applesauce. This is the real deal, with a rich, well-balanced flavor. Real enough to earn space (and weight) in my luggage back home to Hong Kong. Worth every penny of the shipping charges, I appreciate that those are expensive for small businesses and I'm proud to support those that offer high-quality products.

I tried a sample at the restaurant and right away I knew that was it, ordered three from the website and I know I will keep coming back.

I discovered this apple in Ohio at the Great Harvest Bread Co. in Mentor, OH. I just wanted a jam that was low on sugar for my dad who is diabetic and I actually read ingredient lists on the back of containers. Imagine my incredulity when I saw this product have 2g/serving of sugar and just 3 ingredients-cider, apples, cinnamon. And it actually tastes decent? Well my family and I live out of state and cant find an apple butter like this but thankfully they do ship and so I ordered two quarts and it came via FedEx and we are very happy. I'd say the only thing that would make this product better would be to price it cheaper but maybe that is unreasonable. Regardless I would buy again and like that they will ship, although it isn't free but still its an awesome apple butter if you are health conscious.

This part of the world doesn't get apples, so the butter is almost unknown. Some health food stores care a version with corn syrup.
